Ha, that sounded funny.
I mean that I got the date for my surgery.
The surgical nurse called today and said my surgery will be next Tuesday morning (the 25th).
I am very happy with this.
I thought they were going to postpone us until Feb. so this is good news.
Okay that is all, back to homework.
Love you guys!

Friday morning, no car!
Ryan stole my car for the day.
So I am stuck at the house.
When I know I cannot leave, all of the sudden I have thousands of things I "need" to do.
I just got done have a yummy homemade scone and coffe.
Thank you Cheeky Cherub for making a delivery last night!!
I am through my first week at University of Hawaii.
It went really well but I am acutely aware of how much older I am than my classmates.
It is like they are from a different world.
And the way they dress is just crazy.
So much flesh, so little clothing.
But my courses are easy, thank goodness.
So I think the semester will be a good one.
Ryan starts his first Embry-Riddle class tomorrow.
It's some sort of aviation course so I am sure he will like it.
I still have no surgery date.
I am getting very frustrated, now my dr's nurse is saying it could be Feb. before we get in.
I am confused and upset.
If there is something my body that doesn't belong there let's get it out!!!
His nurse "promised" to call me today or Monday.
I am not very optimistic, I am sure I will have to call her.
Well, wish me luck on my final!
This is my last day of this horrible December Intersession course.
Love you guys!

I don't know what to do with myself.
Ryan has a night flight tonight.
My homework is done.
The house is clean.
Everyone I know is asleep.
I have no idea what to do.
I think I have forgotten how to relax.
I wish I had a glass of wine, guess I should have thought ahead.
Bummer!
Tomorrow is my first day of school at the University of Hawaii.
(I think) I bought my parking permit today.
Why can't Hawaii just be normal?
It seems like everything is more difficult here.
I am taking "Human Development" and "Hawaiian Studies".
Hopefully they will be easy because they are electives for me.
I think I might be getting sick.
I am pretending that it is not happening.
But my throat and ears are hurting.
Bummer, again.
We had dinner with our neighbors last night.
It was good to sit down and talk with them.
We have babysat for them a couple of times and hung out in group settings but never alone.
Good stuff.
I went to yoga this morning with Claire.
It's amazing how out of shape you can get over the holidays.
Hopefully I can whip it back into shape.
Ryan enrolled for his first class at Embry-Riddle.
He starts on the 15th.
Eleven classes until he graduates!
No news on the surgery date.
I will call again tomorrow.
I think that's it.

Hi guys!
Sorry I have been away for so long.
I have been pretty busy with holiday visits.
I will probably make an in depth post about my vacation but for now I will just catch everyone up.
I had a saline sonogram this morning.
If you click the link it will explain the procedure.
Anyway, they found some sort of mass in my uterus.
The doctor said not to worry he is almost positive it is not cancer or anything like that.
However, it needs to be removed if we want to have a chance at pregnancy.
So sometime in the next couple of weeks he will perform sugery to remove the mass.
I will make an update when the procedure has been scheduled, don't worry.
Ryan got progressed as of last night.
He is now RL2, which means he can fly with his buddies not just with instructor pilots.
This is a big deal!
I am finally completely enrolled at both OU and UofH.
This semester is going to be crazy but I cannot wait to be done.
I am taking a Decemeber intersession course right now and it is horrible.
We have homework every single day (including Christmas and New Years).
The dogs are good.
Hawaii is good.
We are tired from our travels.
But all in all, we are good.
I know this is a crappy update but it's the best I have right now.
Love you all!

Well, it's Wednesday.
That means it's time to see what's up in my life.
- I have two assignments left for this semester :)
- I leave for Oklahoma in 5 days!
- Milly got her sunroof fixed. (It just stopped working)
- The washer repairman is on his way to fix our washer that got broken in the move (July).
- Still no money from the lady that hurt Milly.
- We have a new baby doctor!
- I have procedure scheduled for Jan. 5 to scope out the ol' uterus.
- Ryan's Christmas party is Friday.
- I am making a White Chocolate Raspberry Tart for the party (Thank you Kari for this recipe).
- Eric is deploying this week so keep him and Robin (Sis-in-law) in your prayers please.
- Ryan has been flying like crazy.
- I've become an elipitical fanatic.
- I am officially obsessed with these:
Which is why Ryan bought me 24 packs!!
That is all I can think of right now.
But I want to show you how cute my dogs are.
I was doing my homework last night and they were laying in the den, so precious!

Day late..
I said I would let everyone know how to marriage retreat went on Monday but you know how that goes.
Anyway, I will start by saying that we had a really great time and we learned a lot.
We stayed at a golf resort which had some really beautiful views of the mountains and a little ocean.
Here are some pictures we shot while we were walking around.
The majority of the retreat was spent learning about this:
Five Love Languages
We found out that I prefer "Acts of Service" and Ryan prefers "Words of Affirmation".
If you have time you should check it out, it really is helpful.
There was not a lot to do after the classes were over so we had to be creative.
This place is located in the "no white folks zone" so we couldn't venture off the resort either.
One of favorite things to do was watch TV in the hotel room.
Sounds lame, I know, but we don't watch TV at home (we don't even have the cable plugged into the TV).
So we drank some wine, ate some cheese & grapes and got our fill of trash television.
We left very pleased.
Plus we got to come home to a sparkly clean house which makes any vacay complete.
So there you have it.
My couple's retreat summary.

Lots of stuff!
We met our new baby doctor on Tuesday and it went really well.
He said that we can definitely do our frozen cycle in January or February (depending on my body).
He was a really nice man and he is good friends with our doctor that did our IVF cycle.
He said that he thinks he can fix my lining issues, no problem.
We left feeling positive.
On the way to the doc I found something interesting.
My former baby doc had sent me a packet of information after our failed IVF cycle.
I was so upset by the loss that I never even opened it until Tuesday.
I found this inside:
This is a picture of our three frozen embryos.
I didn't know they had taken a picture like this.
So it was pretty exciting.
We showed it to our new baby doc and he said they looked great!
Ryan and I are headed tomorrow morning for our couple's retreat.
His company sends a couple every month and this is our month.
We are staying at Makaha Resort.
I will make a post on Sunday or Monday to update you on the weekends events.
Ryan has been flying a lot!
He is having a great time and he comes home with tons of stories.
It's really cool to listen to.
Other than that I am just finishing up my classes and getting excited about heading to OKC.
And then to the Smokies!!
I can't wait to see my families!
Love you guys!
