My Online Party

Well, I am finally giving in and throwing a "Buy This" party.
I went to one of these a couple of months ago and I got pressured into throwing one.
I am very nervous about this.
I have been to a lot of these types of parties but always felt guilty about throwing one myself.
I don't want anyone to feel pressured to spend money.

Is this a normal reaction or am I being weird again?

Busy weekend!

Ryan and I have been very busy this past week.
First we had the "Breast Lump Extravaganza".
For those who did not hear:

I found a lump.
I freaked out.
I went to my primary care doc, she said the "C" word.
I became hysterical.
I went to the ER.
I got sent home.
I became even more hysterical.
I got an appointment for an ultrasound.
I had to wait three days.
I thought I was dying.
I had my ultrasound and I'm aliveeeeeeeee!

Pretty dramatic, I know.
So Thursday afternoon we got the verdict and I am "C" free.
Then we came home and went to a neighborhood Easter cookout.
Friday morning there was an Easter egg hunt.
Friday night we went to a friends birthday party at Dave & Buster's in Waikiki.
Saturday morning Ryan went skydiving and I went to my favorite 6 year olds birthday.
This morning we headed to church around 4:45 AM to make Easter breakfast.
We got home around 9AM and had out Easter nap.
I am going to make Easter dinner for my sweetheart pretty soon.
Then the rest of the night is devoted to my senior thesis.

Just to keep myself motivated; here is where I stand with school.

What came in the mail this month..

It seems that we have been keeping the post office in business this month.

On our anniversary we got two packages in the mail.
The first was from Cassie and Andrew.
They got us a couple's massage!!!!!!
We have never done one before and we are so excited.
We are going in after my classes are over so we can really relax and celebrate!

We also got a package from Mom & Dad Holz.
Excuse the water stains on it, I just got done washing it.
I had the flowers Ryan bought me in it but I forgot to take a picture before I tossed them.
It says "Ryan & Mary 3rd Anniversary" on one side.
On the other it says" Hearts in love are always in bloom".
Pretty cool, right?

Then we got the most out of control gift ever.
Apparently my friend Jen wants me to miss the ball because I can't fit in my dress.
She and her hubby are stationed in Germany, so she wanted to share the German chocolate love.
Needless to say, I have had a bellyache every night since this arrived.

Ryan's Aunt Mary & Uncle Pat also sent us a package from their trip around the world.
The first two pictures are of a table runner they picked up in Manila.
Aunt Mary said she thought it would look nice on the table, I think she was right.
The second picture is a close up of the embroidary around the edges.
The third picture is of a jewelry travel case and lipstick case from Singapore.
Guess this means Ryan will need to buy me more jewelry to store in it.

 

So there you have it.
I am one lucky gal.
I love all of you guys :)

I have been waiting for a return call from the adoption agency we are researching all week.
They called when I was making Ryan's lunch.
I called back 4 minutes later and no one is there.
I checked my voicemail and they said they were leaving for the weekend and to call them on Monday!

AHHHHH!

Oh Hawaii

I never got colds before.
Why would you do this to me?
I have so much homework to do!

Our book find.

Yesterday Ryan and I went to Borders to get a book on adoption.
We found the perfect one for us.

It's as if they named the book just for us.
:)
We found some others too but I couldn't believe we were actually buying a "... for Dummies" book.

In other news, Ryan is taking me to buy my new dress for the Quad A Ball coming up this month.
YAY!
