Monday Night.

I just got settled into my room at the Fisher House here in Biloxi.
I have everything moved in and now I am relaxing in my bed.
This place is pretty great and I even got a Fisher House tote bag.

My appointment is tomorrow morning and I am very excited.
Hopefully lots of growth will be going on in there.
Please send me your thoughts and prayers.

My Jenny Leigh stopped by my house before I left today and brought my a present.
Or a "Surcy" pronounced sir-see.
It's a handmade fertility bracelet and it is beautiful.
She is so sweet to me.
We have agreed that when it works successfully for me, which we are SURE it will.
I will give it back to her so it can bring her good vibes.
We will pass it back and forth until we are all babied out.

Well I am going to get some sleep.
That 4 hour drive is brutal.
Although listening to Jane Eyre is very helpful.

Goodnight!

Sunday.

It is almost 1 pm and my hubby is still sleeping.
I think that night flight line has finally taken its toll.
We are now on completely different schedules.
I decided not to follow his schedule since my dr. appointments are always so early.
And since I will probably be spending the majority of the next two weeks in Biloxi.
So I have been up since around 8 waiting for him to wake up.
Not that I don't have things to do but I try to be quiet so it puts a limit on my activities.

I have been taking my follicle stimulating shots for 3 days now and I am still feeling normal.
Hopefully it will remain that way.
I have read a lot about women getting overstimulated and if that happens the transfer is often times canceled.
Please pray that my follicles will be troopers and survive the meds.

I have my ultrasound on Tuesday morning so by Tuesday afternoon I should have news.
Hopefully everything is growing at a good pace.
I am getting so excited, it's finally happening!
I am trying not too get overly excited but I really have a good feeling about this.

Yesterday we went to Clara's first birthday party.
It was a lot of fun and the food was amazing.
It was a southern food theme so we had pulled pork, potato salad, deviled eggs, cowboy caviar and homemade birthday cake!
The party was in a cabin on Lake Tholocco.
I really like those cabins and I hope one comes available for the time around Ryan's graduation.
But anyway, Clara jammed an entire cupcake in her face and then proceeded to eat the whole thing.
It was pretty amazing to see such a little person eat so much sugar.
She also wore her tutu and tiara for us which was super cute.

Well I took an hour break to play Zombies with Ryan when he woke up.
Now it's 2:15 and he is ready to start the day.
So I am going to finish getting ready.
Love you guys!

It's ON!!!!

All is clear, no cysts or any other problems.
I start my big medicines tonight.
Pray for my eggs to grow!!!
I have a follow up ultrasound on Tuesday and we will see how many eggs we will be working with.
Then we just have to pray that they all grow big and healthy so they will fertilize.

Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers.
They mean the world to me!
I love you guys!

Headed to Keesler.

I am about to leave for Biloxi again.
Tomorrow morning at 7:30 I will have my "baseline ultrasound".
Basically what they are looking for is cysts or anything else that might prevent us from starting the cycle.
So please, pray that we will get the all clear!
I can't believe we are officially starting this cycle!!!!!!!!
Time really does fly by.

Feel free to call me today/tonight I will be hanging out in my hotel room.
Love you guys!

Blast from the past.

Tonight was great.
I talked with the very best friend I ever had.
We have kept in contact over the years on and off but now we are officially on again.
It's crazy how much time can go by and then its like you just pick right back up where you left off.
I am looking forward to having her back in my life, hopefully permanently this time!
Here is a picture of us at 16!

Back from Biloxi.

Ryan and I drove down to Biloxi on Sunday night and stayed at Keesler Air Force Base.
He had never been there and the hotel on post is very cheap so we headed that way.
After giving him the tour of the base, Ryan promptly confirmed his plans to try to join the Air Force after his commitment to the Army is up.
But don't worry that's not for six more years.
Anyway, Ryan had to see our doc in Mobile yesterday morning so we got up and headed from B to M.
While we were there I cornered one of the nurses and started grilling her about cysts and what would happen if I had one.
Because I have been having sharp pains in my right side very similar to the ones I have when I have a cyst.
She said that if I had one on Friday when we do my baseline ultrasound then we would increase my medicine to try to get rid of it but my cycle could be canceled.
I explained that if my cycle was canceled my heart would break and she decided to do an ultrasound right then.
I prayed my butt off while I was waiting for her to get started and THANK GOD! there were no cysts.
So I have no idea what it causing the pain but I do know as of now we are still on!

God is good!

Things making me happy right now :)

1. My hubby being home on a Friday day. He has been running errands with me.
And he took me to Milky Moo's for a yummy lunch!

2. My Holy dirt!

My good friend Kari gave me some of her blessed dirt to take with me when we do IVF.
It's really cool, and I am super excited.
It's nice to have something tangible to remind me who is in control.
Here is a picture of Santuario de Chimayo where she got the dirt!

3. The anniversary gift we got in the mail from Robin!

The one down side of camping was that we never had coffee in the mornings.
Well, TADA! Problem solved!

4. I wrapped Clara's birthday present today and the wrapping just makes me happy.

I felt like a professional wrapper when I was all done it looked so cute :)

5. One week from today I will have my first ultrasound and this IVF cycle will officially be underway!
