I tried something new.
I think I may have found a way to send an automated email when I update my blog.
So I am updating and we will see if it works.
Also, I changed my settings a while ago so that you don't have to have a blogger login to leave a comment.
You should be able to just type away.
You know, just in case anyone wants to leave me a comment (hint, hint).
Love you guys!

Last day with the Murphys :(
Well, our two weeks are over.
I think Cassie is pretty excited about that (she REALLY wants to get home to her baby) but the rest of us aren't as happy.
It has been really nice having them around.
Like the good old days.. but in paradise.
I have some more pictures to share.
Wednesday we went up to see Ryan at work and he let us play in one of the helos.
Friday we went to a cookout with Ryan's work friends and afterward we headed out to look for the "Dragon's Nostrils". On the way we found this lookout point. Ryan decided to once again put his life in danger by hanging over the cliff.
We eventually did find the "Dragon's Nostrils". It is a double blow hole that sends water shooting into the air and makes a very realistic dragon noise (assuming there were really dragons). Anyway we had to climb down the side of a mountain and once we got there we found some tide pools to swim in.
Here is Ryan standing between the "nostrils".
Ryan and Andrew playing in the waves.
View from the tide pools.
There is a light house up on the mountain.
Yep, we climbed all the way down from the top.
On Saturday we stopped by Waimea Bay to jump off the big rock.
That's Andrew.
That's Ryan.
Here are the sharks we got to swim with!!!
This is before we got in the cage.
That is my back, look how close I am!
View from inside the cage.
It was really hard to take pictures and keep your limbs inside the cage.
Cassie did a really good job on getting these shots.
This one is looking down.
After our shark cage adventure we went to find a waterfall.
If you watch Lost, this is the fall where Kate found the briefcase!
We got to swim in the falls but it was really cold so we didn't stay long.
The waterfall is located in a botanical garden.Cassie took some really pretty flower pictures.
I think I will save those for my next post though.
I have to go get ready for our goodbye dinner.
Love you guys!

Murphy visit update
Okay I have some more pictures of all of the fun things we have been doing!
Last Saturday we went to a luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center.
On the way, we saw these guys.
I love them sooo much :)
Tomorrow we are headed down to the Hale Koa for a work function with Ryan.
Then we are going to check out a waterfall and a "blow hole".
Love you guys!

I love them sooo much :)
We got to the luau really early so after we ate dinner we had some time to kill.
We spent it posing with random items we found around the grounds.
I am convinced these seashells are plaster.
Andrew rocking out.
You may not be able to tell from the pic but we are doing our best imitation of the tiki.
They are just so talented.
Sunday we went on a dinner cruise.
Cassie got some really good sunset pictures.
Then the guys volunteered us to take hula lessons.
We had to wait while they tried to sucker others into joining us.
Just before the lesson started.
The lady next to me speaks no english.
So she does not understand what they are telling us and continues to plow into me.
We are giving her some pretty nasty looks.
But she had just elbowed me for the 5th or 6th time.
Becoming hula experts.
The real show after our embarassing attempt.
Legit coconut bikini hula bum shaking dancer!!

The Murphy's are here!
Cassie and Andrew finally arrived on Tuesday!!
Since then we have been having a blast.
Wednesday we hung out at a couple of beaches and saw the largest waves any of us had ever seen.
The boys played in the surf, Cassie took pictures and I freaked out about the danger they boys were putting themselves in.
This is the first beach we went to (Kane'ohe Bay or K-bay or the Marine Corps Base)

The boys thought they would be able to boogie board.
Ha. This is the most action the boogie boards saw.
Next we stopped by to see the Chinaman's Hat.
The third beach we stopped at the boys did get to boogie board but as Cassie and I were walking around we saw several Portuguese Man-of-War washed up on the beach so we decided to move on.
I don't know why we didn't take a picture, I guess we were too freaked out by them.
The last beach was the real fun.
The waves were huge (although they are nothing compared to the waves that will be coming in).
Thursday night we went to see the Cirque Du Soleil show Allegria.
(Sorry no cameras allowed, but here is a picture of Cassie and I beforehand enjoy tasty Mai Tais!)
Yesterday we went on a snorkel trip to see sea turtles and dolphins.
Here are some highlight photos.

The size of the waves did not stop Ryan from playing.
Andrew and I were watching.
Apparently, we were on two different pages though.
I was afraid for Ryan's life and Andrew was deciding to join him.
Here is Andrew after his decision to put his life in jeopardy.
Notice he has better judgement that Ryan (laying in the surf).
Andrew flees; Ryan is lost at sea.
Then the sun set and we headed home.
Thursday night we went to see the Cirque Du Soleil show Allegria.
