That means it's time to see what's up in my life.
- I have two assignments left for this semester :)
- I leave for Oklahoma in 5 days!
- Milly got her sunroof fixed. (It just stopped working)
- The washer repairman is on his way to fix our washer that got broken in the move (July).
- Still no money from the lady that hurt Milly.
- We have a new baby doctor!
- I have procedure scheduled for Jan. 5 to scope out the ol' uterus.
- Ryan's Christmas party is Friday.
- I am making a White Chocolate Raspberry Tart for the party (Thank you Kari for this recipe).
- Eric is deploying this week so keep him and Robin (Sis-in-law) in your prayers please.
- Ryan has been flying like crazy.
- I've become an elipitical fanatic.
- I am officially obsessed with these:
Which is why Ryan bought me 24 packs!!
That is all I can think of right now.
But I want to show you how cute my dogs are.
I was doing my homework last night and they were laying in the den, so precious!

Day late..
I said I would let everyone know how to marriage retreat went on Monday but you know how that goes.
Anyway, I will start by saying that we had a really great time and we learned a lot.
We stayed at a golf resort which had some really beautiful views of the mountains and a little ocean.
Here are some pictures we shot while we were walking around.
The majority of the retreat was spent learning about this:
Five Love Languages
We found out that I prefer "Acts of Service" and Ryan prefers "Words of Affirmation".
If you have time you should check it out, it really is helpful.
There was not a lot to do after the classes were over so we had to be creative.
This place is located in the "no white folks zone" so we couldn't venture off the resort either.
One of favorite things to do was watch TV in the hotel room.
Sounds lame, I know, but we don't watch TV at home (we don't even have the cable plugged into the TV).
So we drank some wine, ate some cheese & grapes and got our fill of trash television.
We left very pleased.
Plus we got to come home to a sparkly clean house which makes any vacay complete.
So there you have it.
My couple's retreat summary.

Lots of stuff!
We met our new baby doctor on Tuesday and it went really well.
He said that we can definitely do our frozen cycle in January or February (depending on my body).
He was a really nice man and he is good friends with our doctor that did our IVF cycle.
He said that he thinks he can fix my lining issues, no problem.
We left feeling positive.
On the way to the doc I found something interesting.
My former baby doc had sent me a packet of information after our failed IVF cycle.
I was so upset by the loss that I never even opened it until Tuesday.
I found this inside:
This is a picture of our three frozen embryos.
I didn't know they had taken a picture like this.
So it was pretty exciting.
We showed it to our new baby doc and he said they looked great!
Ryan and I are headed tomorrow morning for our couple's retreat.
His company sends a couple every month and this is our month.
We are staying at Makaha Resort.
I will make a post on Sunday or Monday to update you on the weekends events.
Ryan has been flying a lot!
He is having a great time and he comes home with tons of stories.
It's really cool to listen to.
Other than that I am just finishing up my classes and getting excited about heading to OKC.
And then to the Smokies!!
I can't wait to see my families!
Love you guys!

Our Charlie Brown Christmas tree
We decided not to get a tree this year because I am leaving on the 13th.
And we won't be back home until after the new year.
But after helping our friends decorate their tree, Ryan suggested we get a baby tree.
So we headed to Target and bought a 3 foot prelit number.
We decorated it tonight and put it on a table in the corner.
Ryan said it looked like the Charlie Brown Christmas tree.
But I think it's adorable.
I took this pic with my phone so it's kind of fuzzy but you get the idea.
Merry Christmas everyone!

Prayer update!
As I mentioned in my previous post, I have been baby step praying.
I have an update!
We have been having A LOT of trouble with our baby doctor out here.
She is literally never available.
She is on leave, then she immediately goes TDY, then comes back but has training, etc.
I have been praying about what to do about the situation.
So here is what has happened.
I called my regular doctor and told him about it, he put in a referral for a civilian baby doc (CBD).
They gave me an initial appointment date of Dec. 6th.
I started praying that someone would cancel so I could go earlier.
I kept trying to get a hold of my military baby doc (MBD) as well.
You can't have too many opinions, right?
Well I finally got ahold of my MBD's nurse on Wednesday and she PROMISED that my doc would call me on (this past) Saturday.
Surprise, surprise my phone never rang.
So I prayed last night that something would open up with the CBD.
I called when I got up this morning and they said a cancelation just happened, come in on Wednesday!!!
Who knows how this will all play out, but it seems like things are working out so that I will meet this new doc.
Hopefully, something great will happen with him.
Please keep me in your prayers this Wednesday!!
Today I am motivated to clean my house so that's what I will be doing.
I finished a 10 pager last night for one of my classes so I am feeling pretty impressed with myself.
2 weeks until Oklahoma!
**UPDATE** About an hour ago, my CBD's receptionist called to say that if I wanted to I could come in tomorrow if I wanted to! How cool is that? So if you don't mind say a prayer for us tonight!!

Thankful!
I am feeling very blessed this year!
It has been a really awesome year for Ryan and I.
Ryan accomplished his lifelong dream and I am working on mine.
We have an amazing family.
We have friends all around the world.
We have the coolest dogs ever.
We live in paradise.
We found a church we love.
We love our house.
We love our neighbors.
All in all, things are going great for us.
We wish we could be with our loved ones today.
It would be nice if we could be in Oklahoma, Utah, Kentucky and North Carolina.
But I guess were stuck with Hawaii.
Today has been pretty eventful.
I woke up early and headed to Walmart for some last minute items that I thought I got yesterday, oops!
Headed home and peeled, cut and cooked 10 pounds of potatoes.
Now they are in the crock pot soaking up butter.
Went over to my friend Claire's to test her stuffing, yummy!
She has never made it before, silly Brits.
Just kidding Claire!
Anyway, now we are just waiting for 3 to roll around so we can pig out.
Oh and my house smells amazing because my Scentsy gear arrived yesterday!
Blueberry Cheesecake is in the air.
Time for some Christmas music!
Love you guys!
Happy Thanksgiving!!
